T-STRIPE is a window heating system that warms the cold edge area of wet windows with minimal electricity usage (see cost example). This keeps the glass and the frame dry even at cold temperatures. T-STRIPE is available in our web shop and from selected retailers. Installation is quick and easy for both existing and new windows – either by yourself, through one of our installation partners, or your electrician. Afterwards, condensation will never form again, the windows stay beautiful and last many years longer!

T‑STRIPE is the first flexible window heating system from the world market leader,

that successfully prevents condensation. It was specially developed for use on window panes to permanently solve the problem of wet windows. The T-STRIPE window heating warms the edge area of the window panes, ensuring that condensation never forms there again. T-STRIPE can also be used on glass corners and facades.

T-STRIPE heats the edge area of windows

so that condensation never forms there again. By using a thermostat, T-STRIPE is operated in a particularly comfortable and energy-saving way, because the window heating automatically switches on at the temperature when condensation would form.

The power consumption of T-STRIPE is generally very low

Approximately 10 watts are required per running meter of the heating element. For a window with a perimeter of 4m, the power consumption is therefore approx. 40 watts, which corresponds to that of a weak light bulb. Our cost example shows what costs can be expected when using T-STRIPE.

Condensation on the window is an expensive, annoying and sometimes even health-threatening problem

T‑STRIPE helps save money,

because T-STRIPE prevents condensation before it forms. Excessive heating and unnecessary ventilation are no longer necessary and heating costs are reduced. T‑STRIPE also protects the window frame, the window sill, the masonry and the floor. The lifespan of the windows increases through the window pane heating.

T‑STRIPE improves quality of life,

because T‑STRIPE keeps the windows dry. Annoying wiping dry is a thing of the past. T‑STRIPE also enhances the subjective feeling of well-being through the pleasantly warm radiation of the window panes.

T‑STRIPE creates a healthy indoor climate

because T‑STRIPE prevents the formation of invisible mold spores. Mold growth is contained and distribution throughout the room is prevented. T‑STRIPE thereby protects the immune system of people with allergies, children and seniors.

But how is it actually possible that condensation accumulates on the inside of windows in winter? Condensation/sweat water forms when the humidity is too high and/or the temperature is too low. The rule is: The higher the humidity and the lower the temperature, the faster and stronger the sweat water forms. This depends on the dew point.

So if there is too little ventilation and/or too little heating, the probability of wet windows increases. By the way, the condensation forms on the windows because they are the coldest area in a room. That's why people who have a problem with sweat water are advised to ventilate a lot and heat a lot at the same time. However, anyone who wants to protect the environment and their wallet should make sure,

correct heating and ventilation:

Under no circumstances should windows be kept open continuously in winter, as this cools down the entire living area including furniture and causes heating costs to skyrocket. It is recommended to fully open the windows several times a day for 5 to 10 minutes to allow for a quick air exchange. The fresh air will warm up quickly afterward. Regarding room temperature, each person has their own comfort zone. But in any case, it should not be necessary to heat to more than 23 degrees Celsius just to prevent condensation.

If condensation occurs despite proper heating and ventilation with careful ventilation and heating behavior, then the problem must be solved differently. First, it's worth having the windows checked for functionality. If these are in order according to the specialist, then the cause lies in the construction style of the house, the arrangement of the radiators, and similar factors. Even or especially in new buildings, condensation frequently occurs because modern building styles include many large window surfaces but few heat sources.

To avoid condensation, no major renovations are necessary. The T-STRIPE window pane heating can be installed easily and quickly – both when installing new windows and with existing windows.

Until now, there was no solution for avoiding condensation / sweating water / condensate

Maximilian Hron – owner and managing director of T-STRIPE – researched the market for a long time, because he was also one of the sufferers who had wet windows and had to wipe them dry every morning: "I had bought a new apartment at that time – with a beautiful, long, floor-to-ceiling window and door front to the terrace as well as many skylight windows. Unfortunately, so much condensation formed there that I had to wipe the entire floor in front of it dry almost daily in winter. Real puddles formed there and over time softened my parquet floor." But as we know, necessity is the mother of invention, and since Maximilian Hron already holds patents for other inventions, he developed his own system in a long and complex process that reliably prevents condensation: T-STRIPE.

Prevent windows with condensation in winter!

"Over the years, as I was struggling with condensation in my apartment, I learned from people around me that this problem exists in many homes. That's why I decided to make my invention available to others and bring the window heating system to market," Maximilian Hron recounts the origin story of T-STRIPE. "And to be able to give my customers a satisfaction guarantee, I commissioned experts to prepare an assessment."

T-STRIPE is the window heating system from the world market leader.

The Austrian Institute for Building Biology and Ecology (IBO) has researched the effect of the T-STRIPE window heating system and confirmed in an expert opinion that neither condensation nor mold can form with T-STRIPE. The warming of the edge area of the windows reliably prevents the formation of condensation, mold, and mold spores and creates a pleasant radiation from the windows.

The IBO concluded that at minus 12°C external temperature, the window cools down to approximately 7°C in the area of the glass edge seal. With the use of the T-STRIPE window heating, the surface at the edge is warmed so that the coldest point is now the center of the pane at approximately 16°C. "With T-STRIPE, the limit values for condensation and mold formation are not fallen below, therefore neither condensation nor mold forms," summarizes DI (FH) Felix Heisinger, who conducted the assessment.

T-STRIPE warms the edge of the windows, and the pleasant radiation in turn creates a comfortable living feeling. Most of the heat energy used is preserved: 63.2% is emitted directly into the living space, thus contributing to the warming of the room. Prevent condensation on windows in winter! All-glass corners are also designed as floor-to-ceiling corner glazing

The window heating prevents condensation even on all-glass corner windows

The ift Rosenheim has examined T-STRIPE in all-glass corners and also concluded that with T-STRIPE, condensation can be reliably prevented on 2 and 3-pane all-glass corners.

additional T-STRIPE applications:

Wall connection - windows:

There are often thermal bridges in wall areas. The Technical University of Graz has examined this area and confirmed that these are reliably heated by T-STRIPE. (Expert opinion)

Facade heating:

On glass facades, the supporting structures often have an increased risk of cooling down too much. T-STRIPE helps as an accompanying heating to warm these up and thus avoid condensation and unpleasant cold radiation from the facades. Facade heating
