Installation T-STRIPE window heating DIY: Different window types allow for different installation methods
The installation of the T-STRIPE window heating system is simple and can be done by yourself or by a professional. The heating system is suitable for all window types: wooden, plastic, metal windows... Here you can find the installation instructions for DIY - installation and operation of the T-STRIPE window heating system. The innovative heating system T-STRIPE solves your problems with condensation on windows.
Plastic Windows
In most cases, it is possible to remove the glazing bead from plastic windows and integrate T-STRIPE behind it. If not, T-STRIPE can be applied directly to the glass (either with liquid adhesive or with double-sided adhesive tape) or mounted concealed in the design aluminum strip.
Wooden Windows
For wooden windows, the glazing bead can rarely be removed. Therefore, T-STRIPE is usually applied directly to the window pane. Or installed in a design aluminum strip. The latter is available from us in silver, but can be powder-coated in any color (e.g., matching the wood).
Metal Windows
For metal windows, the design aluminum strip, in which the T-STRIPE heating element can be installed, looks particularly good. This can be powder-coated in any color. T-STRIPE can also be attached directly to the window pane or mounted behind the removable glazing bead.
