How does the T-STRIPE window heating work?

The operating principle is simple. The heating element is attached to the edges of the window pane and connected to the power supply. The T-STRIPE window heating is a flexible electrical heating element with a diameter of only 3.5mm. When it is attached to the edge area of the pane and powered, the window heating prevents the dew point from being undercut and condensation from forming.

This is how the T-STRIPE edge seal heating works

With this heating element for windows, you prevent the dew point from being undercut and the temperature at the edges of the panes from dropping so much that condensation forms. Since it is a simple product that can be installed retroactively, you can retrofit the T-STRIPE window heating at any time and on all windows, thus ensuring that the temperature at the edge of the windows is increased so that the dew point is not undercut.

The window heating prevents fogged panes

The formation of condensation is thereby prevented.

Easily retrofit window heating

The installation is simple and can be carried out by yourself or by a professional. The result of using the T-STRIPE window heating is dry windows - regardless of whether they are wooden, wood-metal, metal, or plastic windows.

Typical applications:

  • Window heating for floor-to-ceiling windows
  • for windows without radiators underneath
  • Glass heating for roof windows
  • Bay window glazing
  • Glass corner, all-glass corner, full glass corner
  • Large portal glazing
  • Window frame heating
  • Conservatory windows
  • Roof glazing

and anywhere else where condensation may occur.

Consequences of condensation on windows, how the T-STRIPE window heating prevents condensation on windows

The formation of condensation depends on the humidity and the temperature of the surfaces. To actively prevent condensation, first reduce the humidity through regular ventilation (Optimal humidity is between 40% and 60%.) and secondly increase the surface temperature of cold areas with the T-STRIPE window heating!

Condensation formation

Condensation doesn't only occur on skylights. Condensation can form on any window. With the T-STRIPE window heating, windows remain dry.

Where does condensation form on windows and how does window heating help

Condensation and subsequently mold develop in the corners and edge areas of windows, directly next to the spacer of the window pane. Because with large differences between interior and exterior temperatures, even high-quality insulating glass experiences a temperature drop at the edges of the window panes. These are the "weakest" parts of the construction, which is why you protect these window edges with the window heating T-STRIPE.

Many roof windows develop condensation,
with the T-STRIPE window heating system, windows stay dry.

Why is the T-STRIPE window heating the optimal solution?

This window heating works on the same principle as the rear window heating in cars. At only 3.8 millimeters, it is very thin and does not impair the optical effect of your glass panes in the house. The heating element is simply attached to the window pane using double-sided adhesive tape, connected to a conventional socket, and put into operation without further ado. An additional thermostat controls the window heating automatically.

Only use the original T-STRIPE window heating from the market leader!

Window damage & mold formation

Even if you ventilate daily and remove the moisture visible especially in the morning from the windows, visible mold spots form during the cold season. The heating element prevents this problem and is suitable for all windows, regardless of whether the frame is made of wood or plastic, metal or a wood-metal combination.

Experience with the T-STRIPE window heating

The result will convince you and is your chance to survive the heating period without the risk of mold due to falling below the dew point. The T-STRIPE window heating is a high-quality and easily retrofittable pane heating that is ideally suited for windows of all sizes and designs.

For years, we had problems with a poorly insulated sliding window in our attic apartment. As soon as it was around zero degrees, condensation formed massively despite constant ventilation, causing the drywall around the window to start molding. Since we installed the window frame heating, the frame is completely dry. We are thrilled! The service and advice were also top-notch! We can recommend T-STRIPE 100%! Jonathan Hildebrand

The T-STRIPE Window Heating: A Market-Leading Solution in Mold Protection

During the cold season, many owners and tenants are annoyed by the formation of dark areas, which occur especially in the silicone joints and in the edges of windows or glass doors. This doesn't have to happen if you prevent it with window heating and effectively counteract the low temperatures on the inside.

T-STRIPE: No more condensation thanks to window heating

It is a fact that in most houses and apartments, radiators are installed where they warm the room but cannot prevent the formation of condensation on window panes. Moisture damage and mold, water accumulation in the joints and on window sills are the result of different temperatures in the area of windows and patio doors. With our T-STRIPE window heating, you choose an innovative electrical solution that eliminates moisture on windows during the cold season.

Ventilation or Window Heating

Every apartment that does not have an automatic ventilation system should be aired 3-5 times daily, with cross-ventilation being especially recommended. This involves opening all windows for 10 - 15 minutes, if possible on opposite sides of the apartment, which is called "cross-ventilation." Often, regular ventilation and conventional heating are not sufficient to prevent moisture formation on windows, as the weakest point of the building envelope is the edge of the windows. These often cool down too much, causing condensation to form despite ventilation.

Important: Continue to ventilate even if you have a window heating system installed.

The T-STRIPE window heating system is used where your building is most at risk of mold infestation.
